Metropark
This project involves the proposed 1 million m2 mixed used development of office, commercial, retail, residential and leisure, on a 210-acre site south of Dublin Airport. The proposed development is centred around the intersection of the proposed Metro North and Metro West routes and will be integrated into the proposed grade separated Metro interchange. The development site is bounded by the M50, adjacent to the Ballymun Interchange.
The Master Planning of the site required detailed discussions with the Railway Procurement Agency, National Roads Authority, Dublin Airport Authority and Fingal County Council. Preliminary design of the overpasses and underpasses of the Metro Lines, required to serve the proposed development, has been undertaken for agreement with the various stakeholders.
A Local Area Plan for the surrounding area is now being prepared for Fingal county Council with infrastructure and engineering inputs by T. J. O’Connor & Associates.
